Terms of service

Using Score That Play means accepting what follows. It is short on purpose.
What the app is
A scorekeeping app, free to use. You keep the book for your own games; the app records the plays and works the numbers out from them.
Your account
You can score without an account. If you create one, keep the password to yourself — anything done with it counts as done by you. Tell us if you think someone else has it.
What you put in it
The games, team names and player names you enter stay yours. You give us only what is needed to run the app for you: storing that data, showing it back to you, and showing it to anyone you deliberately share a game with.
Name real people in a lineup only where you are entitled to — for a youth team, that usually means with the agreement of whoever runs it. Do not use the app to store anything abusive or unlawful.
Sharing a game
A watch link can be opened by anyone who has it. Sending it is your decision, and what happens after you send it is outside our control. Turning sharing off, or deleting the game, stops the link working.
What is not promised
The app is provided as it is. It is built to keep a game accurately and to survive a diamond with no signal, and it is tested against hand-checked scorecards — but no software is faultless, and a scorecard that matters to a league should be reconciled rather than taken on trust. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted, and we are not liable for a score, a statistic or a game record being wrong.
Stopping
Delete your account in Settings whenever you like; it takes your games with it. We may suspend an account that is being used to break these terms.
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top says when they last did, and continuing to use the app after a change means accepting it.
